Tree growth and development
The tree growth and development classes consist of an extensive presentation by the teacher, doubts and questions and from time to time a task or preparation of a report related to the subject that we are seeing at that time.
The list of contents that we have seen is long, so I will only mention them, at the beginning of the year we began with the processes of photosynthesis, a review of plant tissues and organs, the characteristics of conifers and broadleaves, water in trees, in the middle of the semester we started with mineral absorption and transport, mineral nutrition, physical and chemical properties, photoassimilates, phytohormones, chemical agents and plant development, photomorphogenesis, the physiological aspects of plant propagation and lately we are seeing how trees grow, geographic variability, tree architecture and we have learned to analyze stems and see that environmental factors leave marks on the tree, all very interesting.
I really like this topic because it allows me to learn how a tree grows and develops and all the processes that occur within it and what factors affect it.
knowing how trees grow and develop, is too interesting a topic
